What's On: Library on Stage. Winter Stories
It's not snowing in London, but our imagination can take us to some magical white landscapes!

Join us for a cosy event to hear the beautiful legend of the Fir Tree, narrated by Iulia Iordan with her Kamishibai theater-frame and observe how the images help the story unfold. We'll create together personalized pull-out cards to tell our own winter stories, perfect companions for every Christmas tree.

BOOK NOW!
12th December 2020
How tired would you feel if you walked around the world for 6 years? Have you ever thought that clouds can make great pets? What would you put in your own museum? We ask the important questions and we let our young audience to see what's inside great stories. It will get messy and we might break a few things, so what?

We won't let our guests Simona Antonescu, Florin Bican, Roger Bunyan, Anton & Damian Groves, Axel Scheffler, Marlene Stanciu, Maria & Ileana Surducan to sneak out before they tidy-up.

Welcome to Library on Stage Community
The Romanian Cultural Insitute in London would like to understand how the current Library space can be transformed to best serve a growing community. This research is part of the participatory design project "Library on Stage", developed by RCI London for London Festival of Architecture 2020.

Our aims is to create an open and inclusive platform celebrating the joy of reading.
Empower the children, culturally and intellectually. Provide opportunities for social interaction.
Stimulate collective action and change. Build a stronger community, engaged and connected.

Project Methodology (The process)
Sharing is Caring. Winter Stories
Because this time of the year we should reflect on giving more, rather than receiving, along with illustrator Madalina Andronic, we would like to give you some free color-in illustrations prepared by Madalina for our Winter Stories workshop.
Click the below images to download the illustrations for free. Happy colouring!
